ABOUT
Nailgun-Productions was formed early 2005 to give base and be the breeding ground for all kinds of multimedia creativity. It all started with tracks for the darker side of dance; Industrial hardcore. But as the studio and skills expanded, the interest in exploring other music and media kept on getting stronger and stronger.
Meanwhile there’s a lot of stuff going on at the Nailgun HQ; dance and hip-hop tracks are still being produced, on occasion free! sound-packs for soundresource.eu and with that some sound design for the bike videos. I’m designing shirts, logo’s and website themes too. Video productions are the latest addi(c)tion, I’m doing video shoots and editing sessions for freeride and downhill movies. Something that grew out of my other passion: extreme mountainbiking! It became serious after a couple of editing sessions with Vegas Pro, a VholdR CountourHD 1080 has been added to my gear list.
The Sound studio is equipped with Steinberg Cubase 4 and 5, Native Instruments Komplete 6, Kore 2, SoundForge, various MIDI controllers. Also the latest technology in multicore machines, DSP cards and VST plugin’s. The video and editing stuff is kept pretty basic; Vegas Pro and a Contour ShuttleExpress. I’m still using tape to record and as mentioned a VholdR cam has been added recently, I also have some pretty rad ideas about cable-cam trolley’s.
All the software is payed for and kept up to date.
